Some business ideas are born in boardrooms.  
Ours was born in the stands.

MyClubCashBack began with a simple observation: football supporters spend a huge amount of money online every day, but that everyday spending rarely contributes anything back to the clubs they care about.

Whether it’s shopping, subscriptions, travel, or everyday purchases, millions of transactions take place with well-known retailers that already pay commission for referrals. That value normally goes to marketing channels or cashback platforms, not football.  

 

We wanted to change that.​​

The Idea

The concept behind MyClubCashBack came after more than a decade working in affiliate marketing and performance-based partnerships.

Having worked across the industry, one thing became clear: retailer commissions are already being paid on almost every online purchase, but that value is rarely connected back to the communities behind those purchases.

Cashback platforms proved the model works for consumers. Affiliate marketing proved it works for retailers.  We simply asked a different question.  What if that same model could support football clubs as well?

MyClubCashBack is led by a team with over 10 years’ experience in affiliate marketing, digital partnerships, and performance-led customer acquisition.

That background has shaped everything from how the platform is structured, to how it integrates with retailers and established tracking networks. The aim has always been the same; build something that is simple for supporters, credible for partners, and sustainable long-term.

Built On A Proven Industry

MyClubCashBack is built on standard affiliate marketing technology that is already used by thousands of retailers and publishers across the UK.  Nothing about the model requires new behaviour from retailers or supporters, it simply redirects a portion of existing marketing spend through a different route.

When you shop through the platform:

  • The retailer pays a commission for your purchase.

  • Your transaction is tracked securely through affiliate networks.

  • MyClubCashBack receives that commission.

  • A share of that revenue is passed on through your chosen football club.

 

Nothing changes about how you shop, and prices remain exactly the same as going directly to the retailer.

Why It Matters

Football clubs are at the centre of strong, loyal communities, but much of that economic activity happens outside of matchdays and official channels.

We believe there is an opportunity to connect everyday supporter behaviour with club funding in a way that feels natural, consistent, and sustainable over time.

It should extend into the everyday, into the habits and choices supporters already make.

As more clubs and supporters join, more everyday purchases contribute to something bigger, creating a long-term, scalable way for fans to support the clubs they care about.

Because if you’re going to shop anyway, you might as well help your club whilst you’re doing it.
