To Our Story ...

Some business ideas are born in boardrooms.  Ours was born in the stands, during a cold Christmas fixture, while watching the club I love.

Like many football supporters, I’ve lived through moments of joy and hardship with my team. I’ve seen the highs of promotion and I’ve felt the gut punch of tough seasons when the club has struggled both on and off the pitch. At one point, Bolton Wanderers faced severe financial difficulties, incurred a significant points deduction, and dropped down the leagues, a stark reminder of just how fragile football can be for so many clubs.

That experience resonated deeply with me. It made me think: if supporters could turn something they already do every day, like shopping online, into a new, sustainable source of income for their club, what difference could that make?

From Local Advertising to Purpose Driven Innovation

My journey to this platform started long before football became part of the equation.  Through my wife Rachel’s business, Lee Distribution, we built something humble that soon became remarkable. What began as a small local coupon booklet grew into the largest local advertising booklet in Central Lancashire, helping thousands of businesses reach their communities with real offers and deals.

Rachel launched Lee Distribution because she saw the power of local connection and opportunity. She recognised that advertising doesn’t need to be expensive or complicated, it just needs to be effective, valuable, and rooted in the community. That insight transformed a simple idea into a thriving business that helped local shops, services, and suppliers grow their presence.

That hands-on experience in advertising, distribution, and affiliate partnerships taught us what works and just as importantly, what people value: simplicity, transparency, and genuine benefit.

What Sparked the Next Idea

One day, while watching football over the Christmas period, it clicked.

We knew affiliate marketing, the model where retailers reward websites when users click through and make purchases, was powerful. We had used it with major brands on Rachel’s platforms to help local businesses attract bigger audiences. But we hadn’t yet asked a simple question:

What if that reward didn’t just benefit the website owner, but the clubs supporters care about?

So much money circulates through major online retailers every day. Fans buy kits, gear, groceries, gadgets, often from the same familiar names week after week. What if every purchase could generate a small reward… and what if that reward could go directly to the club that supporter loves?

That’s the spark that ignited this platform.

Turning Everyday Shopping into Real Support

We built this platform around a simple idea, one that doesn’t cost supporters a penny extra.  Behind the scenes, retailers pay a small reward when purchases are tracked through our platform. Instead of keeping that reward for ourselves, we share it with your club,  helping them fund what matters most. It’s everyday shopping turned into meaningful support, without any extra cost to you.

For top-tier clubs with global sponsorship deals and broadcast revenue, finances may be more secure. But for so many clubs deeper in the football pyramid, every pound matters. Matchday revenues fluctuate. Traditional sponsorships aren’t always accessible. And long-term financial stability is never guaranteed.

This platform creates an everyday, sustainable income stream, one that grows every time supporters shop with the brands they already love.

Built on Experience, Driven by Passion

This isn’t a half-baked idea. It’s built on years of experience in marketing, community focus, and real partnerships. Through Lee Distribution, we’ve worked with sole traders, local brands, and national retailers, helping them grow with transparency and measurable results. Those lessons are embedded in everything we do here.

But beyond experience, this project is driven by passion, passion for football, for community, and for finding new ways for supporters to make a difference.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple yet powerful: To help football clubs generate vital income by turning everyday shopping into meaningful support, at no extra cost to supporters.  We believe that loyalty shouldn’t be limited to cheering on matchdays. It should extend into the everyday, into the habits and choices supporters already make.

Looking Ahead

We’re just getting started. As more clubs join, and as more supporters use the platform to shop with their favourite retailers, the impact grows, one purchase at a time. Every click, every basket, every purchase becomes a small but meaningful contribution to the club’s future.

Because if you’re going to shop anyway, you might as well help your club while you’re doing it.
